TO A HIGH QUALITY OF MEDICAL CARE BASED ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION

Abstract

Introduction. Medical education is a key factor in the stability of the development of the healthcare system, improving the health of the population by providing quality medical care. The purpose of the study is to find ways to improve the quality of medical care through the prism of improving medical education. Methods: The study included the study and analysis of available literature on the quality of medical care, state programs for the development of the healthcare system in the country, regulatory documents regulating the educational process in medical specialties, educational programs implemented by medical educational organizations.
Results: It was found that insufficient attention is paid in educational programs to tools for ensuring the quality of medical care. As a rule, numerous aspects of the quality of medical care are taught separately in different disciplines at all levels of education. The fragmentation and lack of logical sequence of studying aspects of medical quality deprives the systematic formation of knowledge, skills and abilities of students and, ultimately, specialists on this problem. Conclusions: In order to improve the quality of medical education, it is necessary to analyze and update educational programs on a regular basis, taking into account modern medical achievements and technologies. To implement a practiceoriented approach in education, which implies an increase in the number of practical classes and clinical practice and helps to prepare future doctors for real medical practice. To form a system of integrated interdisciplinary training aimed at forming students' understanding of the relationship between various aspects of medicine and the quality of medical care, taking into account an effective and in-demand system of independent knowledge assessment.
